Importance of Mastermind Groups [#11]

I recorded this Flip Tip while in the car on my way to my bi-weekly mastermind meeting in Tampa.

Mastermind groups are very important to your success online. From my standpoint, this business can be pretty alienating. We spend a lot of time in front of the computer. Chances are your family doesn’t understand how you can make any money at what you’re doing. Being able to sit down with a group of entrepreneurs who speak the same language is just invaluable.

But, it goes way beyond the social value. We bring in different viewpoints and different approaches to online business. We all learn from each other and our businesses benefit from the outside viewpoints in the group.

If you are not already in a mastermind group, I encourage you to either join or create one. If you don’t know anybody in your area that is into internet business, then use a site like Meetup or even Craigslist to find them.

  • My "mastermind group" consists of myself and one other person, lol. It's small, but we bounce ideas around and it usually helps significantly. I hope to expand eventually. It can be very rewarding to speak with like-minded individuals.

Everytime I talk to my wife about what I do, she looks at me so confused, lol.
  • I'm a fan of mind melding. Our team does a lot of "think tanks."
  • I have. I am a member of a private mastermind group, then I also created my own larger, more public one for internet entrepreneurs here in the Tampa Bay area.
  • Have you ever thought of creating your own MM group?
