This makes sense. In real life, you’ve gotta be assertive. I don’t know why it should be any different with blogging. If you don’t tell people what you want them to do, how are they going to know?

I just submitted one of your posts to Digg. First time I’v done that. Must say I was a little confused by the categories and exactly where to place it. Maybe I’m not getting something, but couldn’t the topics be a bit broader?

Yeah, people get my last name wrong alot, too. They pronounce it with a long “i”, like rye bread. I’m like – no – it rhymes with grizzly.

I don’t think that it is in bad taste to ask your readers to submit your content to Digg, or Reddit, etc. The key is in how you word it (If you liked this post…) is perfect. If I read a post that is of value to me, I’m happy to share it with others. And by adding links at the bottom of the post, you’re really helping the reader by making it convenient to submit. I say- Digg It!!
