Frank, if you can make it, it'd be good to meet you. I know I was up there recently and we didn't cross paths, mainly because it was in the middle of the work-week and you were working (Plus, when you have the wife with you, you're subject to what she wants to do ;) ). But, perhaps in August.

I'm looking hard at attending affillate summit east, however it falls on the same weekend as my 1st wedding anniversary. I'll see if I can get passed that issue.

I always need to consider the price of conventions, at least Affillate Summit East is in NYC.

Stuart - I see you're local to Chicago. There are some good meetups that happen regularly. My faves are:

http://www.meetup.com/chicagobloggers/
http://www.meetup.com/mywplife/
http://www.meetup.com/social-media-marketing/

Just a thought. :)

Is there a site that has a good list of conferences related to blogging, SEO, online marketing, etc floating around anywhere online with a writeup on them?

I'm sure most people know the major ones- however there may be smaller ones located closer to many readers here that would hold interest as well.

Yep, Dave's right, I'm planning on going to BlogWorld! How do I get in on this beer and cigar situation, Mike? :)

Also going to go to WordCamp Chicago in June, and just maybe Izeafest in October as well. I've been bit by the conference bug.

I never attended conferences for bloggers yet, I would love to do so, but unfortunately I have some difficulties to do it, maybe because I am a little far away now!

Good luck everybody, I hope I can join you soon!

Mike, I look forward to it, my friend. I also found out today that my new VA, Lisa, is planning on going to BlogWorld. Will be nice to meet her in person as well.

The two conferences that I attend regularly are the International Association for Identification conference (our company is a major sponsor) and Oracle OpenWorld.

So far the biggest conference that I've missed is P-Camp 2009; I was considering using some frequent flyer miles to head up north, but couldn't go due to some internal and external issues.

Casual affairs are good also; I recently went to a FriendFeed meetup with a few FriendFeed users from greater Los Angeles. Ironically, there were Flickr and Twitter events on the same day...
