I had a similar experience early this year at SXSW in Austin. I was pumped about my first trip to SXSW, but I ended up sick as a dog my first night there. I missed perhaps the most important day of the conference. Luckily for me, I recovered enough to attend the 3rd and 4th days.

SXSW is one of those annual conferences that ANYONE can come away having benefited from. I spoke with the founders of Reddit, CenterNetworks.com, and B5 Media. I also enjoyed a wonderful dinner with @tonyadam, @markknowles, and @oilman. It was the best conference experience I've had, despite the health issues (mine really carried over for two weeks).

2 months ago in a trip to Nashville with my daughter she talked to me about the danger of High Fructose Corn Syrup.. that it is in everything, that the molecules do not break down properly, no nutrition value, and it goes directly to fat cells. Yikes. She talked about it again the next day.

Prior to this I drank an average of 3 cokes a day. I stopped drinking coke, and instead have been drinking ice tea.

In 2 months I have lost 7 pounds.. without changing anything else in my diet.

this is my effort to stop abusing my body...

Not sure what's next, as she is talking to me a LOT about factory farms!... but I do have a guess as to what this is.

Most people are crappy business people. I often wonder how most people stay in business both brick and mortar or online. My pet peeve is Usability. I don't know why people that right instructions don't write them so people can understand it. If a persona is selling a program or “how to” do, what ever… get specific, make it clear.

just saying because diets don't last and they end up actually
making you worse then when you started because they are
bad for your metabolism.

And i'm just saying because you did say in
your post that you are going to stop abusing your body. But then again I'm
just saying. Ok i got to stop saying that.

I hope these rumors of a coffee-free diet are much exaggerated.

I was pretty sick last week too, but luckily I was within staggering distance of my couch and not halfway across the country.
