Bloggers, Don’t Do What I Just Did

It’s time for me to practice what I preach. Namely, if you’re going to blog, you need to post at least once per day. Otherwise, people start to take off and don’t really care.

So, bloggers, don’t do what I just did. I haven’t posted here since last week. My posting frequency has decreased the last 2-3 weeks as well. So, my bad! It’s not going to continue that trend. And I’ll start posting more frequently. There is SO much to talk about in the world of the internet. There is certainly no shortage of material. Time? Yes. But, that’s not an excuse.

Stay tuned…I’ll post something more useful today.

    Too late for me…all of a sudden I lost my mojo and dropped almost everything I was doing to spend more time with kids and life. It’s been worth it, but all the good momentum I had going is going to be tough to get back.

    If you care enough, you could also try writing a week’s worth of content all in one sitting. Then it is in queue for the week with hardly any effort needed to post it.

    I don’t think it’s important to blog every day. If you’re a newsie blogger, then maybe, but other bloggers, I don’t think so. What I think is better is consistency. I know one blogger who makes a really solid blog post every thursday. I look forward to it every week. On one of my blogs I only post 1-2 times a week and it works for that blog. I think how often you blog really depends on the type of blog and your blogging goals.

    Blog everday is not necessary … if one blogger makes a very solid blog once in a week .. that is also fi9… quality should be better than quantity….
