Inner Circle: Open Q&A Workshop, 11/18, 3PM EST

This Thursday afternoon, I will be doing an Inner Circle workshop based solely on questions from members.

Inside the Inner Circle, I usually do at least one open Q&A call each month (may start doing a second one). This is an opportunity to ask me any question you want, get my input on a stumbling block you might be having, or even have me do a live blog evaluation for you.

…. And I might try to show off my new geeky toy this time. I recently picked up a Wacom tablet which, among other things, will allow me to actually DRAW on your blog on my screen, in real-time, as part of the workshop. I’m gonna go all John Madden on your blog.

Open Q&A Workshop For Inner Circle – Thurs, 9/16 at 9PM EST

I want to invite all of my Inner Circle members (which also includes Blog Masters Club alumni) to an open Q&A workshop that I’m doing on Thursday.

Thursday, September 16th, at 9:00 PM EST.

And we’re going to try something different. See, last week, I did a LOT of 1-on-1 consultations with fellow bloggers, helping them out with everything from site design, list building, to finding the right marketing “hook” for them to spark people into action. And it was pretty fun TALKING to you.

Obviously, doing 1-on-1 stuff is pretty darn time-consuming and that’s why I don’t do it very often. But, we CAN do it as a group. So, GotoWebinar allows me to unmute you so we can chat. So, if everything works out, we may try to do Thursday’s webinar kinda talk-radio style. So, instead of me just reading your question via the chat box, I’ll unmute you and we’ll talk it out.

What If You’re Not In The Inner Circle?

Well, why not?

I’m going to be making some changes to the Inner Circle program. Just been so busy getting things prepped up for the next Blog Masters Club launch (among other things). But, the Inner Circle is going to pretty much be all about live workshops – with me.

Because…. here’s the deal…. you don’t need more articles, do you? I thought so. There’s nothing “inner circle” about private articles on this blog, because I’m writing stuff for you guys all the time. I’m even making videos, too. But…

What I very rarely do publicly is give individual attention. It isn’t anything personal. Aside from some blog comments and replies to tweets, I just don’t have that kinda time. So, the Inner Circle is about personal access via our live workshops. I can provide group coaching on a regular basis. Both pre-prepared presentations as well as open Q&A (like what I’ll be doing on Thursday).

So, expect me to re-work a few things on the Inner Circle offer page soon. In the meantime, that’s still where you need to go to sign up. I pack a LOT into a workshop or consultation, so it’ll definitley be worth it for you.

… and I’m not just saying that to float my own boat, but hey, you just gotta do it every now and then.

Treating Your Blog Like A Business – Blogworld Expo Panel

Some of you may know already, but if not, here ya go.

I will be speaking this year at BlogWorld Expo in Las Vegas. I’ll be on a panel with my friends Lisa Morosky, Nathan Hangen, and Mike Cliff-Jones. And we’ll be talking about how to treat your blog like a business. Ironically, that’s the title of our presentation. Cuz we’re creative like that.

We’ll be doing our thing on Saturday, October 16th, at 11AM. It’ll be in Islander D/5, wherever that is (I’ve not yet been in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center).

As my long-time readers know, this is a subject near and dear to my heart. Last year, I was still rather shocked that so many bloggers kept coming to the sessions on monetization, only to ask questions which clearly showed they were thinking like bloggers and not business owners. As our summary of our panel states:

A blog isn’t a real business – it should be the front-end lead generator for an actual sales funnel designed to pour out money.

So, we’re going to lay it out for ya. And (sneak peak), I think we’re going to line up a few things to give away to you when you show up to our panel. It’ll be digital stuff, but super useful in order to help you guys put what we say to use.

I look forward to meeting as many of you guys as possible.
