List Building – The Most Frustrating Stumbling Block To New Marketers
So, you want to make money online. Perhaps you’ve looked into some of those well-known internet marketing products like Product Launch Formula… or even NanoContinuity (which I was promoting recently).
But, tell me if this sounds familiar….
You buy the product because the stuff they say makes sense. So, you get it and you’re all excited. You’re thinking, “This is it. I’m finally going to be able to put into place the missing piece of this big puzzle and make some money.”
So, you delve in and you digest the information energetically. Until…
Is Your Email List Really Small? Read This Now.
They say that size matters. But, I think how you use it is more important, no?
Now, get your minds out of the gutter…. I’m talking about email lists here.
It seems that many bloggers have a really bad habit of under-valuing their email lists due to size. You read tips about email marketing, or read other people’s stories of using their email lists to make good money. Then, you look at your own list…
Not so big. Maybe under 100 people? Doesn’t really measure up, as you see it. Then, perhaps, you think the following thought (which is suicidal, really)…
22 Rapid Tips On Email Marketing For Bloggers
If you have a blog and you’re not building an email list yet, then please, just pack up and go home. As many times as people like me have repeated this advice, if you’re still not doing it, just give up. It’s OK.
For many of you, however, you probably do have an email list. From there, it is just a matter of how to use it effectively.
So, I thought I’d prepare a quick, rapid-fire list of tips for you on email marketing. Here we go…
Setting Things Straight About “Nano Continuity”. Is It Hype?
So, as my readers know, I’ve been promoting Ryan Lee’s Nano Continuity product for the last week or so. During that time, I have observed some comments that are a bit off the mark, IMO.
Some are just looking at this as more hype – slapping a new label on something and acting like it is something new. Others seem to think the entire world has changed. Others seem to think a nano continuity program is merely slashing your price.
I never promote anything I don’t believe in. I’m not a hypey guy, either. So, I’m going to use today’s post to clarify some things about nano continuity.
Sound good? OK, then.
Is “Nano Continuity” The Future of Blogging?
I really had no idea when I wrote that post that it would resonate as much as it did.
One of the things I talked about in that post was how the Apple App Store is affecting the mindset in the marketplace. The small micro-payments that people are paying for apps is creating an entirely new business model – one based off of small, micro payments rather than huge ticket prices. It also resonates with people because, obviously, people like the lower prices.
Which brings me to the idea of “nano continuity”. Could this, indeed, be the very embodiment of what I talked about as the future of blogging?
Lessons From XXX: What Porn Can Teach Us As Bloggers And Marketers
Yes, that’s right. There are things we can learn from the world of online porn.
Check this out, and yes, I’m going to want your input at the end of this post.
See, online porn has long been a trend setter in the world of online marketing. What you see them doing eventually becomes mainstream (they also make mistakes that we can learn from). For example, the evolution of online video was driven very much by the world of porn. In an indirect way, the growth of broadband probably was driven by this… because, well, in those days, why else would somebody need high speed except for porn?
People like Brad Gosse might refer to that as the “good days” of online porn. Money was flowing. They were setting trends.
Then, it all changed…

Are You Starting a Business or a Marketing Campaign?
This is a guest post by Jeff Clay. I like this post because it really brings things down to basics, at a 101 level. My readers know that I’m all about building a real business, as opposed to simply blogging. But, what does that actually mean? I’ll leave you to Jeff…
Internet marketing is relatively simple.
You can learn the fundamentals of internet marketing in a couple of weeks if you go to the right source. It might take you longer to become awesome, but you can still learn the basics in a relatively short period of time.
However, there is a problem in the blogging, internet marketing, affiliate marketing world. Too many people fail to understand the difference between a marketing strategy and a business model.

Drawing the Line Between Free and Paid Content
This is a guest post by Mike CJ.
David’s recent blog posts asking “Is the future of blogging paid access?” and then spelling out his own approach in “…this is how I’d do it” attracted loads of comments and I suspect plenty of traffic. I followed the debate with interest.
One area where many people are struggling is in defining where the line should or could be drawn between free and paid content, and it’s something I’ve been wrestling with for some time on my travel blog, which has a paid member’s section.
I haven’t completely solved the problem, but I thought it might be interesting to share what I have learned along the way.
Hey, I'm David. Dont' know where to start? No worries. Let me help you get started.
