Looking to 2009 in Internet Business & Blogging [#13]

2009 is going to be a very busy year. I believe the field of Internet business, in all of it’s various forms, is going to get a lot busier. We’re going to have a lot more company. I think we’re going to see an influx of people looking to the Internet, both as entrepreneurs and consumers, for information, products and services.

This is why RIGHT NOW is the time to set some goals and get busy. If you find a niche online which serves a need of all these people who are looking and will be looking for answers, your 2009 could be one of the best years ever for you financially.

My biggest recommendation to you is this: Don’t pay attention to the news. The last thing you need to be doing is thinking as if the sky is falling, and that is ALL the news networks propagate like a cancer through our society. Instead, you need to ignore all that, focus on your success, and hustle like crazy.

I’m not worried about this recession because I’m confident in my own skills to maneuver my business to suit economic conditions. What about you? Are you ready to put the pedal to the metal in 2009? Because I think that’s what its going to take.

Is your strategy to spin off focused blogs that meet the needs, or to shapeshift your blog to meet the demands from your homebase?

Good point on focusing on your mission over focusing on the news. You get what you focus on and it’s easy to spiral down when you focus on the wrong things.

Not really sure what you’re asking. My strategy is to provide value, information and answers. There is no “spin off” or shapeshifting involved.

I agree. There are a lot of people complaining about the “recession” that we are in. Yes, it is having a serious impact on the economy. I’ve heard people say that it will affect internet marketing significantly. I do believe that it will have an effect. However, I think there will be many people who will have an even better year in 2009 as internet marketers. People will be looking for ways to make money more than ever (in my humble opinion). It all gets down to setting yourself up for success!
