OptimizePress – On The Inside [VIDEO]

I recently spilled the beans on my personal lovefest with OptimizePress. Today, I wanted to followup with a quick video showing the inside of this theme.

I’m going to take you “behind the scenes” into the pages of my Blog Masters Club launch, which I recently ran on top of OptimizePress. You might have seen the public side of that launch… now you can see how I set the whole thing up with OptimizePress.

Some people seem to have a little confusion on how OptimizePress fits into a blog. For example, can you use OptimizePress on the same domain as an existing blog?

OptimizePress is a theme, and WordPress can only run one theme at a time. Additionally, while OP has a blog theme built-in, it is pretty basic. I assume their blog theme will get better over time, but the truth is that OP isn’t designed to be a blog theme in the traditional sense. OP is used when you want to use WordPress as the basis for a product you’re launching. It can be used for squeeze pages, video pages, membership portals, and launch sequences. It isn’t really intended to be a blog theme.

If you have an existing blog that you don’t want to screw up, then your best bet is to install OP (along with WordPress, of course) on a separate domain or in a sub-folder on your existing domain. Yes, you can run more than one installation of WordPress on the same domain.

Where OP excels is in allowing you to set up a launch or a membership site, make it look professional, and do it QUICKLY.

Now, I want to invite you to a public workshop I’m going to be holding this week…

You’re Invited! – Free Public Workshop – “Quickest Path To Setting Up A Membership Site”

On Thursday, February 3rd, at 9PM EST, I will be holding an online workshop where I will spell out the quickest A-to-B path to setting up a membership site.

You might ask why I mention this on a post about OptimizePress…. well, because OP is part of the process. And I’ll show you why on the workshop.

I’ll give you the pieces that you’ll need and I’ll give you some advice on putting it all together, populating it with content, and bringing it to market. The idea here is SPEED. I’m all about speed these days. :) This workshop will demystify the logistics of a membership site for some, and show you how you can literally have a site set up and ready to go in no time.

To attend this workshop, I just need you to RSVP to save your “seat”. Click here to RSVP.

Will you be recording this for us poor beggars in Europe who have to be in bed by midnight our time?

    Thanks

I hear ya David. I just switched one of my sites over to the theme. Absolutely awesome. Especially when you couple it with DAP.

This looks great! It turns wordpress on it’s head and instead of being a blogger software, it’s software for people who want to launch products.

  • http://davidrisley.com David Risley

Yeah, you can do almost anything with WordPress these days. It is fantastic.

  • http://davidrisley.com David Risley

    Thanks so much, Al. :-)

Yeah, I’ll need to try DAP one of these days. I’m mainly an Amember guy, and my next site will be using Wishlist, most likely.

  • http://BlogWithSuccess.com Shannon_Herod

Dude I have to be honest… WL pales in comparison to what DAP can do. I have used both and could not live without DAP now. The only thing that WL is better at is marketing. Other than that there is no comparison in my opinion. Never used Amember so I can not comment

  • http://davidrisley.com David Risley

    Yeah, I don’t doubt that.

Amember is powerful and quite flexible, but not the easiest solution in the world. Gotta be a little more technical to get it the way you want it sometimes, but after that, it is a workhorse. Also seems to integrate with damn near everything.

    Hi David,
I just took your advice and bought OP and I have to say I 100% agree with you. It’s a great product. I installed 4 funnels for testing purposes on one of my blogs and once I’d got through the process once it was really easy to create the other 3. I wouldn’t have been able to do this in Kajabi (the cheapest plan only provides 3 projects – and so only 3 live funnels at a time). And OP comes with 1,000′s more configurable options.

Next step for me is to look at membership site software and then I’m migrating everything away from Kajabi (and I’ll be saving $99 per month!)

I look forward to watching the recording of the webinar tonight (I would love to stay up till 2am, but with a 4 yr old, that would mean I only get about 3hrs sleep!)

    Take care
    Daniel

Cool video. Seriously, Optimize Press is a steal at it’s current price. For anyone that’s into affiliate marketing, it’s a great tool to have.

Use DAP for the membership software on a OP membership site… it rocks and they rock. I used Kajabi for a launch and membership portal…its OK… Ive used JV press for quickie launches….
hands down OP and DAP is the killer KO… for a total one time cost of $400 I can now build as many membership sites and funnels as I want forever…end of story. I got the DAP unlimited site license for 297 + OP for 97 DAP has some insane features

I love this theme but it is kinda slow, do You know of any service that can speed it up?
