Powerful Affiliate Marketing For Your Blog [#12]

As a followup to yesterday’s post about the MaxBlogPress Ninja Affiliate plug-in, today I wanted to do a Flip Tip video talking about the plug-in.

Simply put, anybody who is serious about making money with their blog should use this plug-in. I’m really stoked to have found it and gotten it setup. It was just what I was looking for.

And I believe you will find it useful to in your quest for blogging income.

I think your videos are great and to the point.

Do you have a recommended starter set or roadmap for affiliate marketing 101?

It seems to me that the essence of “affiliate” marketing, is being “affiliated” with certain product/service providers and it’s about using your trusted readership to trust a product or service by extension. If that’s true, it seems to me the toughest part is finding products/services you actually want to be affiliated with and are on topic for your blog. … and if that’s true, I see why doing your own products makes a lot of sense ;)

Doing your own products is always best, and yes that is one reason. But, there are a lot of great products worthy of promotion to every market. You just have to take the time to find them and evaluate whether you want to put your name behind something.

I don’t yet have anything specifically about affiliate marketing, but stay tuned, because I’ve got a lot planned for 2009. :)
