RoboCommissions – Automated Webinars Without The Hassle

OMG. The link in the email didn’t work – AGAIN. Something weird is happening. Anyway…

–> CLICK RIGHT HERE. <–

Anything with a promotion like this has to be good. ;-)

What a bad ass. ;)

But, seriously…

The product is Robo Commissions. It opens up today. Ryan Lee is behind this, and he’s a marketer I highly respect. He’s been known to create products that rock the boat… and this one is no different.

Here’s the jist…

I spelled out how you can use webinars to make money without your own product. But, its still a lot of work. In fact, when you attend a webinar as a guest, you probably have no idea how much work really went into that.

RoboCommissions democratizes webinars and makes it so anybody can use them to promote. “Done for you” webinar replays.

To learn more… and learn why the heck Ryan called this thing “Robo Commissions”, check out this video. Its pretty well done. :)

Interesting video, can’t believe they go to all that effort and leave about 4 typos in the text though? Wouldn’t you proof read it?
System sounds interesting but he never mentions the traffic side of it, or the fact that it looks like everyone will be promoting the same products. Seems like the lazy folk would just get excited and buy without thinking the traffic issue through.

You would still need traffic, and you’d have to build that with the usual ways. What this does is just makes the webinar side of things a lot easier.

    David,

You say “What this does is just makes the webinar side of things a lot easier.”

I watched the video … but still can’t understand exactly what the product is I am buying for $49!

Can you please tell me what the product is and how it “makes the webinar side of things a lot easier”?

    Thanks!
    Mark

    The idea is this…

Done-for-you automated webinars, tailored to certain high-converting offers on Clickbank from a variety of markets (and more coming). You’ve got the whole setup… squeeze pages, the webinars, the followups, etc. So, essentially, all you need to do is drive traffic to it.

In my view, its meant to be an income stream, but not necessarily part of your brand or anything, seeing as you’re not the one speaking on the webinar.

This is a great product and one I would promote if it was not on ClickBank. It is a same too because Ryan knows his stuff. But, unfortunately I can not let that much money slip through the CB cracks.

  • http://davidrisley.com David Risley

I guess it depends on whether you have a personal vendetta against Clickbank. :-) There’s a lot of crap on there, but there’s also some good ones. Like this.

  • http://focused2win.com/fastwebsite/inner-circle/ Shannon Herod

It is more about lost commissions and refund craziness than a vendetta. I have products on ClickBank, just out side the MM niche. that is where the problem lies. At the end of the day I still run a business and have to consider the financial impact on a promotion will have on my business. I this case I stick with a strict company policy of not promoting Make money products on ClickBank, even if they are good products.

However, I also think it is a great product and one I actually purchased myself. I will not be using the product, but someone that does not have a lot of time on their hands, or is just starting out, can really benefit from it.

  • http://davidrisley.com David Risley

If I didn’t know Ryan personally as a stand-up guy, I wouldn’t promote it either.

  • Drew Burks

David – looks interesting, certainly a great video promo … but the skeptic in me begs to ask the question …. why would he bother wasting time selling this for $49 if his product is really making the kind of $$ he claims?

Because I have a lot of respect for you – I am curious on your thoughts.

  • Tim

What’s odd, in the video he uses his dad as an example, someone without the time, inclination or maybe ability to set up their own site/product so they are sold the idea of it being all done for you.

But this begs the question where is this type of buyer going to get the traffic from, or will they suddenly becom a master of google, facebook ads, analytics etc?

  • Jose

I had to stop watching the video due to a serious hype overload.

The guy is banging on about the ‘bad’ marketers out there selling push-a-button fortunes… and bleating on about this magic 22x formula (wtf…)

I gave up at the point where he magically did some math to show us that more signups = more money.

    Seriously…

If you wouldn’t even promote it if you didn’t know Ryan personally; then that makes me want to ask whether people who don’t know Ryan personally would buy it? Whilst I appreciate that the product now has the seal of approval of a reliable top-internet-marketer and someone who knows their stuff, namely yourself, thereby more than doubling its social-proof, I remain somewhat dubious, due to my not knowing Ryan personally; – only having heard of Ryan via yourself and maybe a couple of other sources.

    ,..awesome..,

Wow!  David I have the highest respect for you and feel you’re kinda putting your neck on the line with this one…  Don’t ya think?

I mean, every marketer who’s been doing this for a year or more and who’s bought every get rich quick scheme out there should know that these “guru” marketers squeeze every penny they possibly can out of their techniques before they sell their ideas to you?  Right?

I don’t know.  This could be legit.  However, with everything I’ve learned.  This is a “click out” to me. ;)

  • http://davidrisley.com David Risley

Its legit. I know Ryan Lee, the guy behind it. One of the most honest marketers I know.

You have to see the thing for what it is. It isn’t a magic pill.

  • http://davidrisley.com David Risley

Its just business, in my view. Plus, its a good lead gen seeing as the webinars promote other products. So, there’s backend opportunities, too.

I can see why Ryan did it. But, the thing isn’t for everybody.

  • http://davidrisley.com David Risley

Understood. You’d need to make your own decision on that one. I’m not going to push this one too hard because I know not everybody on my list is right for it.

  • http://davidrisley.com David Risley

Tim, you’re an astute observer. :-)

Yes, traffic would be up to the buyer. What this thing does is gives a conversion point to you. And if it converts well, you can afford to buy traffic to the site. But, yes, there is most definitely work involved with building the traffic up to the webinar sites.

This was the epitome of a launch gone bad!

I actually purchased it more for the bonus that you put in the email David.  I had a previous bad experience with Ryan Lee.  He hyped a product in an review on his site that turned out to be an outdated FB tactic and script.  I had already learned about this tactic the previous year, but his hype made it sound like it was something new and exciting.  The best part of it was that the script that was being sold was actually outdated by MONTHS.  And I am still trying to figure out what he review really was about.

Then this launch.  I was very skeptical, but, like I said, I saw value in your bonus.  After paying for it (only $49, so it isn’t much), I couldn’t get access.  The support forum was filled with messages but it took Ryan almost 3 days to actually come on and post a reply.  I finally received my login information 2.5 days later.  I am expect it will be another 2.5 to 3 days before I hear an answer to the question I asked in my reply to the support ticket.

I’m sorry, but my experience with Ryan Lee reminds me of the “Gurus” that throw themselves behind any product because they know their name and list will make them money.

I’ve worked in customer service, and the lack of response is horrible.  I understand that he was probably scrambling trying to get his team to fix it.  But he actually sent out an email to his list that sounded like gloating that so much traffic to the site caused his servers to crash.  Even though it was true, it came off as a marketing tactic to get more sales.  That energy would have be better served contacting the paid customers about what was going on.

I finally receive my login, and, as I presumed, it isn’t anything all that incredible.  However, it didn’t cost much and it will give me something to test traffic tactics and other strategies.

Nonetheless, this is the last thing associated with Ryan Lee that I will purchase.  I haven’t really liked his style from the beginning.  Unlike David, he seems to always be selling something.

This launch would make a fantastic case study on how not to launch a product……hmmm, new blog?

  • http://twitter.com/bradgerlach Brad Gerlach

Yeah David, you right – not a magic pill. However, he markets it and hypes it as one…..IMO.

  • http://davidrisley.com David Risley

Thanks for the honest feedback. Definitely seems as if there were some backend problems on their end. Very unfortunate.
