Looking For A Competent Webmaster

I need a dedicated person to handle the technical needs of a full-time blogger and internet marketer (that’d be me).

Must be able to confidently and quickly perform tasks such as:

  • WordPress install, tweaking, theme adjustments, plug-in installing, etc.
  • Advanced theme customization with WordPress (using fully custom themes)
  • Creating and formatting sales pages, opt-in pages, etc.
  • Creating headers, logos, plus other random graphics as needed. Graphics need to be at a professional level in order to sustain company image online.
  • Installing/customizing Amember Pro (membership site software)
  • Setting up/running split tests and other conversion tests
  • Making tweaks as necessary to vBulletin
  • Performing script upgrades without affecting live sites adversely

Must have the following qualifications:

  • Have excellent spoken and written English
  • Excellent HTML, CSS, PHP & Mysql skills
  • Be able to think on your feet and make things work rather than only being able to modify things that others created.

Ideally you are able to combine artistic design with solid coding skills, while also having enough understanding of internet marketing to create pages to facilitate conversion.

You should get things done quickly, and report on your progress.

We will agree on any monetary compensation, but I would also like to offer personal access to myself so that I can help you grow your business online. You help me, I help you. :) You will also have access to all of my products and future products as long as we continue working together. I want you to create a letter detailing:

  • How would you rate your communication/english skills on a scale of 1-10?
  • Why does this job appeal to you?
  • Why are you seeking new employment?
  • Tell me what you feel your special qualifications, talents or skills are that make you uniquely qualified for this position. In other words, why should I select you over and above the other applicants?
  • What is your blogging/marketing experience?
  • Tell me about yourself, your likes, dislikes, strengths, hobbies anything not listed on your resume.

    You forgot to mention how may hours a week and/or a month you will be having this person work for you…can they still work their day job too?

    Interesting post thought, maybe you will share how many candidates actually met all of your requirements that applied for the position.

    Dang I would love this job but unfortunately I’m not extremely well in PHP and MySQL. I know it but I’m not “excellent” with it.

    Are you looking for someone to help develop new products and idea’s help see them trought and do what ever it take s to complete them? Are just maintain all the and do all the BAU work you got going on? Also is this full time seems like a lot of work if it is not. I would be interested in doing some project work from time to time but I got my own stuff to worry about also.

Are just maintain all the and do all the BAU work you got going on? Also is this full time seems like a lot of work if it is not. I would be interested in doing some project work from time to time but I got my own stuff to worry about also.
